PhD milestone, welcome back, and farewell

This week, Filip Turza successfully defended his PhD thesis titled "Determinants of rescue behaviour in ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae)". Congratulations on defending with honors - well done and good luck on the next steps.

We’re happy to welcome back Daniele Camarda, who recently defended his PhD thesis at the University of Catania. Daniele is now rejoining us in Kraków for another stay - congrats, and let’s make the most of this second internship!

At the same time, we say goodbye to Matteo Vecchi, who has just completed his Polonez Bis project in the iEcoTeam. Time flies! Thanks for all your contributions, Matteo, and let's see what our collaboration brings in the future.
